Three chargers competed at the 6A State Championships in Cypress, Texas, on February 14-15. Aurora Berberena competed hard and represented Central well in the 138 lb weight class and ended her season with a 34-11 record.

Echo Cranor had a great tournament and represented the Chargers well, fighting all the way to a 4th place in the 126 lb weight class.  She finished her season with a 43-12 record.


In the 106 lb weight class, Matthew Govea had a great showing at the State tournament, making the semifinals and ultimately finishing 6th. He ended his season with a 28-9 record.
