Coach Scarafiotti took over the helm of Charger Softball in August of 2022. Prior to Central, Coach Scarf served as the Head Coach at Independence High School (Frisco, TX) and Lovejoy High School (Lucas, TX). Before becoming a head coach, she served as an assistant volleyball, cross-country, and softball coach at both North Forney and Coppell.
A local to the area, Coach Scarf graduated from Haltom High School in 2009 before attending Stephen F. Austin State University, where she walked on to the university's DI softball program, eventually earning an athletic scholarship and captain's title on the way to a Bachelor's of Business Administration. Coach Scarf continued her education shortly after, earning a Master's of Coaching & Athletic Administration through Concordia University-Irvine.
When not on the diamond with the Chargers, Coach Scarf enjoys spending time with her husband, Jarid (also a SFA Baseball alumni) and daughter Ellie, as well as family and friends. She also enjoys running, reading, and traveling, as well as rooting for the Rangers, Stars and Avs, and Broncos.
