Jessica Kilian is starting her 17th year in Education, her 2nd year here at Central High School. Previously, Coach Kilian, spent 15 years at Trinity Springs Middle School, 9 of them were as the Girls Athletic Coordinator. She opened TSMS in 2006 and built a successful middle school Girls Athletics program in her time there. She has coached volleyball, basketball, track, and cross country. After 15 years at the middle school, it was time for her to venture to the high school level. This year at CHS she will be coaching Freshman B Volleyball and coaching Track & Field. She has taught math and PE and now at CHS will be teaching Family & Consumer Science, specifically, Intro to Culinary and Lifetime Nutrition & Wellness.
Coach Kilian is a Fossil Ridge Graduate, the first class to go all four years at Ridge when it first opened. At Fossil Ridge, she was a three-year Varsity setter and helped them to 2 years of playoff runs. She also played club volleyball at TAV with Coach Baker! After graduation, she received a scholarship to play volleyball at Blinn College in Brenham, TX. After receiving her associates degree at Blinn, she received another scholarship to play volleyball and further her education at Texas A & M Commerce. In 2004 she graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology.
Coach Kilian is a proud mother to Jameson (6) who will be attending 1st grade this year at Lone Star Elementary. Her hobbies include; attending Jameson’s baseball practices/games, spending time with family, and playing volleyball in an “old lady league.”
