Fort Worth, TXÂ - Both the Boy's and Girl's Cross Country programs opened up their 2022 campaign's this past week at the Cowtown Challenge. Tkaing place at The Buff, the girl's varsity team led the way with a third place finish (59 points), falling just two points shy of Denton Braswell (57 Points) in second place.
Angelina Vidal's 20:38 was good enough for 5th place individually while
Jaya Conmy's 21:31 (8th Place) landed her in the top ten as well.
On the boy's side, the varsity finished sixth out of thirteen programs while the JV claimed the top spot amonst all JV programs.
Liam Galegher's 18:35 was followed closely by both
Caleb Root (18:37) and
Declan Jones (18:39) as all three place in the Top 30.

The Charger's will head to Bob Jones Park this weekend (Aug. 27) as they feature in a meet hosted by District opponent Southlake Carroll.
