Chargers Release 2022 Football Schedule

Fort Worth, TX - The Central Charger's Football program recently released their 2022 schedule which includes five home contest and seven games taking place at the Keller ISD Athletic Complex. The Chargers will open up the 2022 campaign with a scrimmage at Charger field against Irving Nimitz before heading to Weatherford to offically kickoff the seaon. The Kangaroos went 7-4 in 2021 including a 6-2 record at home.

Central will make their home debut September 2nd when they take on Plano at 7PM. The game will also serve as Charger Feeder Pattern Night as Central plays host to all of the schools in the Charger Feeder Pattern. The Chargers will wrap up the non-district portion of their schedule on the road against Arlington Lamar on September 7th.

District play kicks off on September 16th when the Chargers host Haltom City for the Homecoming Contest. The Buffalo's, who went 3-7 in 2021, will be making their return to District 4 after a four year hiatus. After taking on the Keller Indians the following week, the Chargers will honor their seniors October 6th when they take on the Eaton Eagles at 7PM. The Chargers pulled of a nail-bitting 21-20 victory over the Eagles in 2021 and have won two of their last three matchups aginst Eaton.

The Charger's will stay home and face the reigning district champion Southlake Carroll Dragons on Thursday, October 13th before hitting the road to take on Byron Nelson on October 20th. The Bobcats went 9-4 in 2021, advancing to the third round of the playoffs where they fell to Denton Guyer 36-43.

Central will wrap up the regular season against Fossil Ridge on October 28th and Timber Creek on November 4th.
