Marilyn Korywchak drove in 5 runs on 2 hits to lead the Chargers past Haltom 14-0 on Tuesday at Charger Field. Korywchak tripled in the 2^nd inning to score the 4 runs and singled in the 4th, scoring another run,

Addi Brown struck out 12 batters, surrendering only 2 hits and keeping the Buffaloes scoreless over 5 innings.

Chargers opened the scoring in the bottom of the 1^st innings on 3 singles, with the first run scoring off of Paige Childers single. Going into the 2^nd innings, the Chargers scored 7 runs on 6 hits. Gabby Redmond singled to score a run, Marilyn Korywchak & Hannah Hanson both hip triples, and Megan Costa singled to score one run.

Chargers piled up 16 hits on the game. Hanson, Redmond, Costa, Childers, Meche, and Korywchak each collected 2 hits and the defense played an error-free game.

The Chargers will travel to Red Oak, Waxahachie, and Ennis for their final tournament of the 2024 season Thursday-Saturday.
