In an impressive display of strength and determination, the boys' and girls' powerlifting teams of the Chargers showcased their prowess in recent regional meets. The Lady Chargers exhibited remarkable skill at the regional meet on February 28 in Prosper, clinching 3rd place as a team. Among the standout performers were Bella Loos, Milka Folly-Gah, Samantha Morin, and Ruthie Sanchez, who qualified for the State Meet on March 13 at the Comerica Center in Frisco.

Similarly, the boys' team demonstrated their formidable abilities at the Regional Meet held at Central on March 2. Eight Chargers competed fiercely, with Christian Perez, Kaleb Rothman, Nick Luangrath, and Jordan Brown emerging as State qualifiers. These exceptional athletes will represent their school with pride at the State Championships, set to take place at the Abilene Expo Center on March 23.
