On August 2nd, 2006 the CFC community was rocked with the tragic news of the death of Kyle Allen Fritz. He was 17 and was about to start his senior year. Kyle was an amazing player; he was selected to the All-District Team numerous times, as well as a member of the All-Area, All-Region, and All-State teams during his time at CFC. To this day he is still CFC's all-time leader in assists and goals scored. The Central High School Men's Soccer Program has always hosted a tournament previously named the Charger Challenge Cup. It has since been renamed the Kyle Fritz Memorial Cup in Honor of Kyle. This tournament serves as a celebration of Kyle's life, and the thing he loved most: Soccer.

The 2025 Kyle Fritz Memorial Cup Boys Soccer Tournament will be held Jan 9-11, 2025 at Central High School, Keller High School, Timber Creek High School, and Vista Ridge Middle School. This is the 18th annual tournament that honors Kyle Fritz's legacy and impact on the Keller Central Boys Soccer program. Each Division will play three games each showcase style, in their group. Games will be played at Charger Field at Central High School, Keller High School, Timber Creek High School, and Vista Ridge Middle School.

Length of Games

• Varsity 
  • 40 minute halves. Five minute half time. Ten min pregame warm-up. NO OVERTIME.
• JV1 
  • 30 minute halves. Ten minute half time. 5 or 10 Min Pregame Warm up 
• JV2 
  • 25 minute halves. Ten minute half time. 5 or 10 Min Pregame Warm up 

Jersey Colors
Home team (listed first) wears dark/color uniform. Away team wears light/white color uniform.

Game Balls
NFHS or higher game balls to be provided by the HOME team.

Cautions
UIL rules apply to any cautions received. Any red card requires player to sit out next game.
