Angelina Vidal claimed the overall victory in the Chargers last meet of the year prior to the District meet, finishing with a time of 19:46 on a very difficult Bluffs course.
Jaya Conmy joined her with a top five finish coming in at a time 20:31 while
Aurora Golden finished in the top 15 with a time of 21:56.
Akanksha Jha claimed the overall victory in the JV race with a time of 22:29, a new personal record for the sophomore while
Rachel Wilkes also ran a PR time of 22:46.
On the boy's side of things,
Josh Chikosha once again led the way for the Chargers with a time of 17:30. Freshmen
Austin Bell and
Caleb Root both ran PR times crossing the line just a second a part at 18:19 and 18:20.
Adalai Montgomery led the way in the JV race with a PR time of 20:04.
As mentioned, the Chargers will now head to the district meet with postseason births on the line. The District 4 meet will take place at Bob Jones Park in Southlake on Thursday, October 13.
