Five Chargers Sign NLI's On National Signing Day

Fort Worth, TX - Five Central Chargers across three sports programs signed their official letters of intent Wednesday morning. Central Softball players Izzy Cornell (Paris JC), Kirsten Wilkinson (Southwestern Oklahoma State), and Jaeylyn Estes (Bellevue) were joined by Central Volleyball's Karly Wells (Dallas Baptist) and Central Baseball's Riley Graham (Allen County CC). With friends, family, teachers, coaches, teammates, and Central administration present, all five student-athletes officially announced their future plans after leaving Central.

Coach Scarafiotti on Izzy Cornell - "Izzy has been consistently great for Chargers softball, both on the mound and as a leader. She truly loves and respects the game of softball and has a very high softball IQ. She is one of the most competitive pitchers I have ever coached, constantly working on her craft, and we know her senior year will be her best yet."

Coach Scarafiotti on Kirsten Wilkinson - "Kirsten is one of the most naturally gifted athletes I have ever coached; when you add her work ethic to her talent, we knew she'd be an asset to whichever program she decided to join. Kirsten is strong, competitive, and can play anywhere on the field. We can't wait to see how she leads us this senior year before heading to SWOSU."

Coach Scarafiotti on Jaelyn Estes - "Jaelyn is a special athlete that can play outfield or take the mound; she is a fierce competitor that is not afraid to hold her teammates accountable to our high standards and competitive atmosphere. Jaelyn sets high goals for herself and our program and constantly works to reach those goals. With Jaelyn and our other seniors, we are really excited to see how this season unfolds."

Coach Watson on Riley Graham - "Riley is a two year letterman who has made incredible strides in the four years he has been in the Charger Baseball program. We are very proud of Riley as a ball player, but more importantly as a human being. He is proof that hard work and determination will pay off."
