Southlake, TX - The Charger's Volleyball program (25-11, 3-1) made history Tuesday night collecting their first victory over Southlake Carroll (13-16, 2-2) since Sep. 28, 2010 as the Dragons were slain in three-straight games 25-18, 25-18, 25-21. The win marked just the third time Central has beaten Southlake all-time and improves the Chargers to 3-1 in district play, putting them in second place after four games.

Central dominated the net, out-blocking the Dragons 12-3 as Abby Zerger and Emma Mugwanya both register six total blocks a piece. Allison Montoya continues to lead the program in assists, adding 21 to her season total of 368 while Karly Wells and Jaylani Evans surpassed a combined 650 kills on the year, with Wells registering 16 while Evans added 10.

Up next for the Central will be a trip across town to take on Keller (17-11, 2-2) Friday night. The Indians swept the season series against the Chargers in 2022, winning in straight games on both occasions.
